Small Works

Patricia Malarcher’s practice includes small scale, sewn collages in fabric and mixed media. Among these are a series of boxed Memorials, in which a piece of memorabilia from a particular person is the starting point of a collage. Although other elements eventually cover it, this remains the hidden heart of the piece.
